📖 This Week's Story

Today is a joyful day! Jesus is entering Jerusalem, and the whole city is excited! He rides on a small donkey — not a horse or a chariot like a powerful king. He chose a humble animal. The people spread their cloaks on the road. They wave palm branches and shout: "Osanna! Blessed is the one who comes in the name of the Lord!" In Greek churches on Palm Sunday — "Kyriaki ton Vaion" — we bring green branches to church. Many churches give children laurel or palm crosses. It's a day of celebration!
